About the Institute

The University of Prince Edward Island is a public liberal arts and research university located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was established in 1969 through the merger of two historic institutions: Prince of Wales College (founded in 1834) and Saint Dunstan’s University (founded in 1855).
