The first-cycle studies in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems at SGH Warsaw School of Economics provide basic knowledge in the field of economics, management and finance as well as the canon of knowledge related to quantitative methods in economics and information systems. The studies also include practical courses in the area of statistical and econometric analyses, decision-making, information technology and demography. 

The graduate of the first-cycle studies in the field of Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems at SGH Warsaw School of Economics  knows mathematical, statistical and econometric methods and tools necessary to analyse economic and social phenomena on a micro- and macroeconomic scale, understands and knows how to use the tools of mathematical analysis in econometrics and information technology, 

This programme helps to develop competences required for jobs in business entities and organisations which actively apply mathematical, statistical, econometric and information tools or useful for running own business.  It can also provide a sound theoretical and methodical foundation for enrolment into second cycle programmes.
